Marc Places in the top 15 of the Dean Shredder Search Competition

Dean Guitars held a 'Shredder Search'in the Autumn 2008. All entrants had to submit a video of themselves shredding the guitar for no more than 1 minute. This competition attracted guitarists from all over the world and had over 1800 entrants. Dean Guitars enlisted Rockstar judges and with the help of Dean Artist Relations Dept., eventually wittled the competitors down to fifteen, whom Marc Playle was one of them.
